It is hard to be able to understand the cruelty that these dogs undergo in China. How can we let this continue to the most loyal companion man has ever known. The same animal that has been mans best friend and helped man in many forms of work.There has to be laws enforced against this kind of cruelty in all countries to stop the suffering of these loyal companions that have been faithful and loyal to man for as long as we can remember. Witnessed by an investigator a German Shepherd was beaten and then skinned alive by two men. Also on video a small puppy was transported in a dirty sack, crying scared and helpless while two men stood nearby laughing and joking before they killed him.
In Harbin investigators have witnessed dogs being kept in dark pens with no heat. These dogs are starving and under nourished and allot of them are sick and have diseases such as distemper, parvo virus, and eptospirosis. The dogs are so weak that disease spreads through them like wild fire. Witnesses have seen dogs jammed into sacks and driven to slaughterhouses that can take up to six hours without food or water.
There are some places that have already banned the importing of cat and dog fur, United States, Australia, Switzerland, and five EU member nations - Italy, Belgium, Greece, France and Denmark. But as a whole the European Union has no ban set into place. If you want to help you may write to the Chinese Ambassador in London, asking China to stop the killing of dogs and cats for fur and to please make this a law.
